This notice explains how Kitfix handles information you provide through this website and the website settings stored in your browser. For service enquiries, please call Kitfix.
Information you provide
The form asks for your name, berth or location, service, timeframe, message and details for your selected contact method: an email address, phone number, WhatsApp number or WeChat ID. Email is only required if you choose email. You may also supply an additional phone number, company, vessel name or model. These details help describe the work you need. Do not include passwords, payment information or other sensitive details.
How we handle enquiries
We store the information you submit through this form. For service arrangements, please call Kitfix. The website records basic browser information and may record connection details to protect the site and limit repeated submissions.
Website settings and video
A language cookie remembers your language choice. Your browser may remember display preferences, including text size, spacing and reduced motion. The About page loads a YouTube player only when you select the video. YouTube then receives connection information and may use cookies or show advertising under its own policies.
Cookieless traffic statistics
We use self-hosted Plausible to count page visits and enquiry steps without analytics cookies. It processes basic page, browser and connection information to produce aggregate statistics. Names, contact details, vessel details and enquiry messages are excluded from analytics events. Events may include the selected service category and timeframe. These cookieless counts operate separately from the optional Google Analytics and Clarity choice below.
Optional analytics
Only after you allow Analytics, Cloudflare Zaraz loads Google Analytics to measure page visits and enquiry steps, and Microsoft Clarity to record masked interactions and identify usability problems. These tools use analytics cookies. Names, contact details, vessel details and enquiry messages are excluded from analytics events, and enquiry inputs are masked in Clarity. Google Analytics does not receive your originating IP address through this setup. Advertising audiences are off. You can reject analytics and still use the site, or withdraw your choice using Cookie settings in the footer. Withdrawing reloads the page to stop the optional tools. Google and Microsoft process the analytics data under their privacy policies.
Retention and requests
Enquiry records remain stored until manually removed. Call Kitfix to request access to, correction of or deletion of information you submitted.
